Law Clerk Positions

NOTE: Not hiring for Summer 2026.

We seek full-time law clerks on a rolling basis for the Fall and Spring semesters. Applicants must be 3L law students who have taken Environmental Law, Water Law, or have similar coursework or relevant experience.

As lawyers for the environmental movement, our practice concentrates on litigation in federal courts and administrative forums, with a strong focus on water.  We therefore require a demonstrated commitment to environmental protection, a strong academic record, excellent research and writing skills, and relevant experience in environmental law, advocacy, or science – before and/or during law school.

A Law Clerk at Super Law Group will participate in a full range of tasks that includes:

  • Drafting notices and enforcement letters

  • Drafting pleadings and motions

  • Conducting legal research and drafting memoranda

  • Conducting factual investigations and discovery review

  • Participating in settlement negotiations, including meetings with clients, experts, and opposing parties

  • Joining in internal strategy meetings, including weekly firm-wide meetings to evaluate case challenges and discuss boutique-firm management.

Our Law Clerks work closely with SLG’s attorneys and gain significant experience early in their careers. We seek individuals who are well organized and want to take on a high degree of responsibility and independence for their assignments.  This is a full-time unpaid position, but we are well-versed in meeting academic requirements for credit.

To apply, submit your cover letter, resume, unofficial transcript, and writing sample (minimum 7 pages) to Andie Altchiler at andie@superlawgroup.com, subject line APPLICATION - LAW CLERK [term season & year]. No phone calls, please.
